12 March ~ 14 March
were the days where...

We had lots of fun
in school...

First aid course, knots, games & food

Good times with each other!

And sad to say..
The camp ended in a blink of an eye D:

But the Sec 4s promised,
they'll be back
so stay tuned for more action
as they continue the guiding legacy
(idk how to make it rhyme D: , my bad)

Today, we started the meeting like any other girl guides meeting. everything was similar just that the sec 2 and 3s were not with us. Instead of having the seniors doing the colour party, the sec 1s were doing it. So ma'am Aqilah instructed us to choose 1 sec 1 to be the leader. So among my petrol, I was chose to represent my petrol for that day. Just because it was my first time doing this role, I was kind of confused. But through the patient guidance of ma'am Aqilah and ma'am Valerie, the representatives followed their instructions closely.

Soon, we got to work in the 1F classroom. Miss Huda taught us the World Song and we copied the lyrics into our exercise books. We even went up in front of everyone petrol by petrol to sing the first stanza! We all learnt the parts of the Girl Guides uniform. The 4 petrols had a competitions to see who knows and remembered best. Miss Huda even gave us bonus questions with of course carries bonus marks. In the end, my petrol, Dove petol beat all the other groups. After that, Miss Huda taught us how to make flowers using foam paper. All of us watched the tutorial together. Each of us did 1 flower, in my petrol, Geraldine kindly corrected and helped us whenever my petrol members or when I needed help. Upon completion, I wrote a note to go with the flowers. Naomi, Celestine, Vicky and I presented the flowers to our vice principal,Ms Tan. In return, we all had a hug from her each. How honored we felt.

We played captian's ball too. Like the standard dismissal, we sang taps and we were dismissed from there.

It was a memorable day for me.

Reporting Time: 12.45(Sec 2s&3s), 1.30(Sec 1s&4s)
Dismissal Time: 6.15pm
Venue: Foyer(Sec 2s&3s), Volleyball court(Sec 1s&4s)
Sec 2s&3s will be going to HQ for learning of kitchen shelter and fire altar. Please revise on your knots and lashes! You will be dismissed from there.

Attire: Guides Polo T-shirt & Track Pants (Sec 2s – 4s)
Sec 1 Camp T-shirt & Track Pants (Sec 1s)

Things to bring:
1. Consent form
2. Stationery
3. Sketchbook
4. Waterbottle

Reminders:
1. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please inform your PLs 1 DAY before hand. Please provide a valid reason accompanied by Parents’ Letter or Medical Certificate.
2. Please be punctual.
